Lady Knights make a huge statement
This past weekend Duncanville HS hosted the Hoopfest event which brought some of the top high school basketball teams & players in the country to compete in a two-day showcase. Ontario Christian went down to the Lone Star State and showed no mercy to the host school Duncanville Lady Panthers, as they took the W in a hearty 89-51 score on Friday night.
The Knights were led by the #1 youth basketball sophomore & #2 of the Freshman in the country, Kaleena (Special K) Smith ‘27 , Tatianna Griffin ‘28 & Sydney Douglas ‘28 put on a show during the event. The trio was unstoppable and set out to show that they are a force to be reckoned with.
On Saturday night, Ontario took on the #1 player in the class of ‘25 in Monterey’s Aaliyah Chavez and totally dominated one of the top prospects in the country by a score of 82-50. The Knights have looked dominate early on this season and in our opinion they’re probably the #1 team in the country.
