Beaverton, OR – The G365 Portland Classic made one thing clear, the Dynasty Elite Red is the best 2023 team we’ve seen this fall and they earned the G365 #1 Ranking this past weekend after breezing through a tough 10 team bracket that also included PDX Elite, Boise Slam, and Team Solid Gold.
The 2023 Dynasty Elite Red team was led by MVP, Donald Stephens, who was clearly the top player among a talented class that included All-Tourney members, Adrian Mosley (PDX Elite), Bogdon Chobu (Team Solid), CJ Jacobsen (Boise Slam), Jackson Fulmer (Boise Slam) and a talented Chinese National team.
In the 13U division, newly formed talented Northwest Athletics team went 4-0 and will vault into the G365 Top 10. #EBCJAAC member, Terrence Hill, took home MVP honors. Other All- Tourney members included Vashad Hardges (Team Solid), Boden Howell (Hoop Salem), Tony Angelo (Go Hard), and Quinn Haveman (The Program).
The 12U division was won by G365 #25 Dynasty Elite Red behind MVP, Mason Bierbrauer, and All-Tourney, Cameron Smith.
The 11U featured two of the better teams on the circuit, PDX Ballers and Young Gunz who gave us the best championship game of the event. Both teams had a second half run that included a streak of six straight dynamic scoring possessions for each team (including 3 3-pointers for each team in that same run). PDX Ballers prevailed in the end, but expect to see many more fireworks when these two teams meet in the future.
In the 10U division, G365 #14 Young Gunz took home the championship. In the 9U division, the Rose City team cemented their status as a G365 Top 5 team with their championship run.
