With 63 Grassroots teams competing to make an early mark on the rankings, the G365 NorCal Clash
launched the Boys Youth Season ahead of schedule, while also preparing 21 High School Boys teams for
the upcoming NCAA Live viewing periods.
Some of the highlights included:
- 9u: #5 Team Arsenal defeated the #8 Golden State Dubs 31-25 to secure a Championship. It’s hard to beat a team twice in a row but tournament MVP Duke-Chance Wilhite had a solid performance to help his team win. Wilhite had 7 points, 5 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 3 steals. Golden State Dub’s Dylan Key had an outstanding performance in the championship game finishing with 11 points, 8 rebounds, 8 steals and All-Tourney Team.
- 10u: #24 Bay Area Lava defeated North Bay Basketball Academy (NBBA) 77-49 in the
Championship to top off their undefeated tournament run. MVP Kai Fontejon had an
extraordinary game, finishing with 41 points (7 threes) and 6 steals. Tyler Nowak helped his
NBBA team with 7 points and 7 rebounds and was named to the All-Tourney Team. - 11u: #1 Lakeshow Elite gets their revenge by defeating #9 Team Arsenal 27-20 in the
Championship game after losing to them in pool play to start the tournament. Lakeshow Elite
had 11 total steals forcing Team Arsenal to not have a single assist in the championship game.
MVP Skylar Johnson led his team with 11 points, 3 rebounds, and a steal of his own. - 13u: #16 California Hogs finish the tournament undefeated led by Tournament MVP Jacobi
Thompson. Thompson scored 18 points along with 6 rebounds to help beat All-Tourney’s
Templeton Fountaine V and the Sacramento Soldiers in an exciting championship game with the
final score of 48-46. - The HS Division at the NorCal Clash generated excitement for the start of future spring live
events within the G365 brand. These teams were able to get a feel for the game again and
compete against high-level opponents before the Stage Act I (April 21-23) and Stage Act II (April
28-30).
