The 8th grade division solidified the NorCal region as a top competitor in compared to the SoCal region for top 8th grade teams on the west. The Oakland Soldiers (3-0), came in ranked in as G365 #11, but by the end of the weekend, proved they belong in the top 5 discussion. The Soldiers, led by MVP, Broyce Batchan, shift guard Shamar Cook, and all-purpose wing forward, Ron Jones, defeated one of the top 8th grade teams in the west; Chuck Hayes Elite, in pool play, and YBA Elite (2-1). They knocked off G365 #11 Team Esface and Port City who is led by one of the top guards on the West Coast, Jadyn Marshall, in pool play. With their impressive weekend, YBA Elite will join the G365 Top 25. Players that showcased their talent in this division also included Malik Rose (YBA Elite), KeAndre Burns (YBA Elite), Kobe Nunes (Chuck Hayes Elite), Isaiah Whyte (Chuck Hayes Elite), Devin Day (Chuck Hayes Elite), Jake Overbay (Hot Shots Elite), and Calvin Mader Clark (Team Esface).

The 7th grade division was also loaded with some of the top teams from the Bay Area. G365 #16, Sacramento Hoyas (3-0) came in feeling disrespected by our rankings. They entered the event to prove a point about being a top 10 team and they certainly did not go unnoticed. The Hoyas were led by MVP, 6’5” Angel Corona who has clearly been working on his post-game. The Hoyas also feature the talented guards Devin Lewis, Jaylen Hawkins, and Jalen Newhouse as well forward Micah Hobson. Runner-Up G365 #11 Bay Area Clippers (2-1) is another team that is just as talented and deserves recognition as one of the top teams on the West Coast. Players that showcased their talent in this division, included Evin Goodwin (Team Lay-Up), sharp-shooter Yaqub Mir (YBA Elite), high motor Jean Claude Mubiangata (Bay Area Clippers), and a player with a lot of of potential, Courtney Anderson (Team Legit).

The 6th grade division featured four G365 top 25 teams: #5 Team Esface (1-1), #7 Oakland Soldiers (4-0), #8 Hawaii Heat (1-2), and #18 Fresno Swoosh Elite (2-1). In the end, the Oakland Soldiers Navy team, which was led by MVP Jamari Phillips and All-Tourney, Thurmond Thorpe, proved there was no one in this field that was better them. Unranked Team, XOver (3-1) also proved they belong as atTop 10 team on G365. Players that showcased their talent in this division also included Marshel Sanders (Fresno Swoosh Elite), Jackson Young (Fresno Swoosh Elite), sharp shooter Cameron Ardissono (Fresno Swoosh Elite), Kainoa Marasco (Hawaii Heat), and playmaker Montory Moore (Team XOver).

The 5th grade division came down to a championship match-up between #5 Oakland Soldiers Navy and #10 SF Work Hard Play Hard. Both teams battled throughout the game, but ultimately, SF Work Hard Play Hard, led by MVP, Raymond Whitley, pulled ahead to win 47-41 over the Soldiers. Players that showcased their talent in this division included Josiah Andrews (YBA Elite), Brandon McCoy Jr. (Oakland Soldiers 10u), Carey Mastin (Port City), and Kellen Hampton (Oakland Soldiers).

The 4th grade division came down a rematch between G365 #18 Oakland Rebels White (2-1) and NorCal Region #8 SF Work Hard Play Hard. The Oakland Rebels MVP, Landon Yergon, and All-Tourney, Roy Bishop Jr., would go on to take home the championship. Players that showcased their talent in this division, included Ilias Medios (SF Work Hard Play Hard), Vincent Ellis (Prime Blue), Thomas Meehleib (SF Work Hard Play Hard).
