Tyjir is constantly hustling in the paint and battles against the other bigs for rebounds and position. His reach allows him to alter shots and he displayed great footwork and soft touch scoring in the paint.

Tyjir is a dominant big man. He establishes his presence in paint early, on both sides of the court. Consistently pulls down offensive boards for second chance opportunities. He closes out on defense quickly, making offenses reconsider attacking the painted area. His rebounding and passing ability allows him to snag a board and send the ball all the way down the court for transition buckets.
